Yui had been a single mother for as long as her son had been alive. She had raised him with love, providing him with all the guidance he needed to make it in life and soon his hard work was paying off. He was about to get a job and move out of their home, leaving Yui alone for the first time in so many years.
The night before he left, Yui couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by emotions – both sadness at his departure, and joy that her son was growing up into an independent person. As she said goodnight to him one last time before bed, she impulsively decided that she wanted just one more moment with her beloved son.
