Minako was used to sneaking into stores undetected and pocketing whatever she wanted. It was a habit she picked up as a teenager, when money was tight and shopping sprees were a luxury she couldn’t afford. Now, as a young adult working part-time at a clothing store, Minako found herself drawn to the thrill of stealing once again.
One afternoon, as Minako slipped a pair of expensive jeans into her bag, she heard footsteps approaching. Instinctively, she ducked behind a rack of dresses and held her breath. To her surprise, it was her boss, Ryouichi, heading straight for her.
Panicking, Minako fumbled with her pockets, trying to hide the stolen merchandise. But Ryouichi wasn’t fooled. He grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her into his office, slamming the door shut behind them.
