As Sarah boarded the train home from work, she tried to ignore the butterflies fluttering in her stomach. It wasn’t often that she traveled alone, especially during rush hour, but tonight seemed different somehow. She settled into her seat, pulling out her book to lose herself in the pages, trying desperately to forget about the unfamiliar feeling building inside her.
But her thoughts were interrupted by a sudden jolt, causing her to look up and see a stranger standing before her. His piercing gaze made her heart skip a beat, and she looked down, blushing furiously. That’s when he spoke.
“Excuse me, miss,” he said softly, holding out something that looked like a small, cylindrical object. “Would you be interested in experiencing something truly unique?”
