It was a beautiful day in the private kindergarten where my daughter attended. The sun was shining, and the birds were chirping, but for me, it was a day filled with worry. My wife, who happened to be a full-time housewife, had agreed to serve as an officer of the “parent-teacher association” (PTA) at our daughter’s school. The officers were decided by voting, and I was hoping that my wife would accept the role without any hesitation.
As I walked into the school for the PTA meeting, I was surprised to see my wife standing at the front of the room. She looked a bit uncomfortable, and I couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief that she was willing to serve. As the meeting progressed, I noticed that my wife was taking on a leadership role and was contributing to the discussion in a meaningful way.
