I had been living in the same apartment complex for a few years with my wife, but something strange started happening recently. She always seemed to be on edge when our neighbor from the upper floor came around. I could tell that she didn’t like him and was very annoyed by his presence.
He was a handsome man who always seemed to have an air of confidence about him. He often smoked cigarettes outside the building, leaving behind a fragrant smell that wafted through our windows. My wife would grumble every time he went past us, complaining about how inconsiderate it was of him to smoke inside our shared space.
It wasn’t until one day that things changed drastically between them both; my wife started behaving differently around him and even lit up his cigarette as soon as he put it in his mouth! Like a prostitute.
