I was living in the same condominium as Mr. Samejima. He was always an intriguing figure to me. His appearance was that of someone who exuded a savory and fragrant aura. I later learned that this was a result of his love for cooking. Mr. Samejima lived on the upper floors of the condominium, and every day, he would smoke and speak loudly in the shared space.
Despite his efforts, things were not always peaceful in their household. One day, about half a month after I moved in, I witnessed something shocking.
