It was a beautiful day in Hawaii, and Satomi and I were on our honeymoon. We had just spent the night at a cozy hotel and were looking forward to a day of exploring the island. As we walked along the beach, I saw a small shop selling intricate talisman. I knew that the couple’s happiness was a powerful charm, and I wanted to bring it home as a memento of our honeymoon.
I bought the talisman and swore to Satomi that we would keep it close to us and use it to keep our love strong. We placed the talisman in our suitcase, ready to take it back to Japan with us.
The next day, we set off on a drive around the island, taking in the stunning scenery and soaking up the sun. As we drove, I couldn’t help but feel a little nervous about the surprise party that my colleagues had planned for me. I had just been promoted to a new role at work, and I knew that they wanted to celebrate my success.
