It all started one day when I went to pick up my husband from work. His boss, Abe, came out and told me that he had caused a violent incident at the previous company. He was seen hitting another employee in a fit of rage and pushing them against the wall.
I felt my heart sink as I heard this news. My husband had never been like this before; something must have happened to cause him to act so violently. Despite my worries, I decided then and there that no matter what happened, I would protect him with everything I had even if it meant betraying him along the way.
