I woke up to the sound of knocking on my door. It was Mr. Sudo, the friend of my late husband. I had known him for years, and he had always been kind and understanding. But now, I could see a cruel and twisted look in his eyes.
“I’m sorry for your loss,” he said, his voice gentle but with a menacing edge. “But I need to talk to you.”
I opened the door, feeling a wave of nausea wash over me. I knew what was coming. Mr. Sudo had been coming to see me every day since my husband had died in an accident. And I had no choice but to let him.
He sat down on the couch, his eyes never leaving mine. “I know how much you loved your husband,” he said, his voice low and seductive. “And I know how much you miss him.”
I tried to push him away, but he was stronger than I was. He grabbed my hand and pulled me close to him, his lips lingering on mine. I tried to resist, but I was helpless in his grip.
