A few years after marrying her husband, Toru, her wife, Yuko, had finally decided to go back home for the summer vacation. She had been putting off this trip since her daughter had married Gaku. Yuko had always found it difficult to bond with her son-in-law. This year, however, she had made a promise to herself to try and get along with him.
She had come a long way from the busy city that she was accustomed to living in. The wooden house in the countryside was a complete change of scenery for her. The lack of an air conditioner was something she had not anticipated.
