After devoting a significant amount of time to the company, I have made the decision to depart. As a farewell gesture, my department organized a hot spring retreat, where we could also commemorate my departure. The tranquil ambience of the traditional hot spring inn provided a much-needed respite from the busy city life.
I am immensely grateful to Director Ozawa for arranging this trip. However, at the evening banquet, I indulged in a bit too much alcohol and ended up in a drunken state before I knew it. In hindsight, I failed to realize that this trip was orchestrated by the director.
