Misaki’s father-in-law, Yamajijii, was completely devastated by the sudden loss of his beloved wife. He had always been a man of few words, but the pain and grief he felt was evident in his tear-stained face. As he struggled to come to terms with his loss, he found solace in the presence of his daughter-in-law, Misaki.
At first, Misaki was taken aback by her father-in-law’s sudden attachment to her. She was still grieving herself and the last thing she wanted was to be reminded of her husband’s absence.
