Kaho, feeling anxious, received the news of her father-in-law’s deteriorating health from her mother-in-law. She quickly went to visit her father-in-law, accompanied by her husband. Tokuya was lying in bed, his voice feeble and barely audible. Kaho’s heart sank as she saw the state of her father-in-law, and her heart ached for her mother-in-law who looked exhausted and broken.
After much contemplation, Kaho decided to stay by Tokuya’s side for a while. She wanted to offer her support and care to both her father-in-law and mother-in-law during this difficult time.
