John had always believed in the power of love and the purity of his marriage to his wife, Misaki. They had met at a company and had fallen in love instantly, without any doubt or uncertainty. They had gotten married in a beautiful ceremony, surrounded by their family and friends, and their love for each other had been unwavering.
But one day, everything changed. John came home from work to find that his wife had left for the day and he was alone. He was about to take a shower when he heard a knock on the door. When he opened it, he was met by a man he didn’t recognize.
The man introduced himself as John’s new boss and he explained that John had been transferred to a new department. John was shocked and confused, but he tried to be polite and respectful. The man seemed friendly enough, but John couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off.
