Ayumi had always dreamed of seeing her son, Hiroaki, succeed in life. When he was just a baby, her husband had left her, and she had worked hard to provide for him. She had hoped that Hiroaki would one day attend a national university, and she had done everything in her power to make that dream a reality.
As time passed, Ayumi began to realize that Hiroaki was growing up and would soon be ready to start his adult life. She knew that he had a talent for studying, and she was determined to do everything in her power to help him achieve his goals.
That’s why when Hiroaki told her that he didn’t want to go to college, she was disappointed but not surprised. She had always known that he had other plans for his life.
