The Mari couple were content with their quiet life in the small town, but that was all about to change. News of a redevelopment plan had been circulating. It was a decision of the local government to sell the land in the area to a construction developer, Kano. The company was planning to build a tower condominium, and it seems like the Mari couple’s house was in the perfect location.
When the couple first heard about the plan, they were not too worried. They have lived there for years, and they were sure the government would not force them to leave. However, when Kano himself showed up at their doorstep, their worries started to grow.
