The day Saki’s husband got the big contract from Kamata, she could not help but feel a twinge of jealousy. Kamata, her former boss, had been like a mother to her, and now she was getting a chance to move up in her career.
Saki tried to push the thought aside, reminding herself that she was happy with her husband and that she did not want to ruin their marriage. But as the days passed, the feeling of envy grew stronger.
One day, Saki’s husband invited Kamata over for dinner, and Saki could not help but notice the way Kamata flirted with her husband. The air in the room was heavy with tension, and Saki could feel the heat rising in her face.
When Kamata left, Saki’s husband did not notice the look of anger on her face. He was too caught up in the excitement of the contract.
