Makoto, a young wife, was living a seemingly normal life with her husband and father-in-law. She had a good relationship with her father-in-law and appreciated the time he spent with her. But one day, everything changed. Makoto was raped by her father-in-law, a man she trusted and considered a father figure.
Makoto was devastated by the betrayal and felt a sense of disgust and shame. She tried to push the memory of the assault aside and focused on her daily life. But the pain and trauma of the experience haunted her, and she began to shut herself off from the world.
As time went on, Makoto began to open up more and more. She started to take risks and allow herself to be vulnerable with the people around her. She began to feel a sense of power and control over her own body, and she finally felt like she could take back the agency that was stolen from her.
