Mikako, the director of the design department at Mikako Apparel, was struggling to invite world-famous designer Takashi Sugiura to attend the company’s 20th anniversary celebration. She had been trying to reach out to Sugiura for weeks, but had yet to receive a response.
As the date of the anniversary approached, Mikako became increasingly worried that she would have to cancel the event without Sugiura’s participation. She had a feeling that Sugiura’s designs were similar to the ones she had been working on for the anniversary, and she was worried that her subordinates would notice the similarities.
Despite her concerns, Mikako left the invitation to her subordinates and went on vacation. When she returned, she was surprised to find that Sugiura had accepted the invitation and would be attending the anniversary.
