I was working late one evening when I happened to witness a scene that I wish I hadn’t seen. I caught a glimpse of my boss, Miss Takahashi, in a passionate embrace with Mr. Yokota, one of the company’s directors. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I had always admired Miss Takahashi from afar, but I never imagined that she would be involved in an affair with one of the higher-ups.
As I watched them, I couldn’t help but feel a tinge of jealousy. I longed to be in Miss Takahashi’s position, to have someone like Mr. Yokota show me such affection. But I knew that would never happen. I was just a lowly employee, and Miss Takahashi was my boss.
