Sophie had always been close to her older brother, Alex. They shared everything growing up, from toys to secrets. But recently, Sophie couldn’t shake off the feeling that something had changed between them. It started innocuously enough – small touches here and there, lingering glances that left her cheeks flushed. But then came the ban on their favorite TV show, Ona, for an entire ten days. That’s when Sophie knew that things were different now.
Alex tried to explain that he needed some space, that they had grown too close, but Sophie didn’t buy it. She could see the hunger in his eyes every time she caught him staring at her. And one night, as Sophie lay in bed reading a book, she heard the sound of footsteps outside her door. Her heart raced as she realized what was happening.
