As soon as Aunt Rachel stepped out of her car, my heart skipped a beat. She was wearing a maxi dress that flowed gracefully around her legs as she walked towards our house. It wasn’t like any other dress I had seen on her before; this one seemed more revealing than usual. Her hot pants peeked through the hemline of the dress, making me feel both exhilarated and confused at the same time.
I couldn’t help noticing how different she looked from the last time we met. Gone were the frumpy cardigans and loose-fitting skirts that she used to wear. Now, she wore tight leggings, bodycon tops, and high heels that made her look decades younger than her actual age. As much as I loved seeing her dressed up so stylishly, I couldn’t shake off the feeling that something wasn’t right about it all.
We spent the first few days catching up over coffee and lunch, chatting about our lives and reminiscing about old times. But there was an undercurrent of tension between us, which I could sense but didn’t know how to address. One evening, when we were watching TV together, she asked if I wanted to go for a walk outside.
