As Miru walked through the crowded reunion, she caught sight of a familiar face. It was her long-time crush, Baize. She had always admired Baize from afar, but had never had the courage to approach them. As Baize walked by, Miru couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement and hope. She had always believed that Baize felt the same way about her, but she had never been able to confirm it.
As the reunion came to an end and Miru found herself alone with Baize, she finally had the chance to express her feelings. She was surprised by Baize’s response, however. Baize told Miru that they had always been just friends, and that they had never had romantic feelings for each other.
