Suou and Keisuke had been married for three years, and they loved each other deeply. However, their inability to conceive a son had always been a source of sadness for them. They decided to visit a hospital for fertility treatment, hoping that it would be the answer to their prayers.
When they arrived at the hospital, they were greeted by the friendly and professional obstetrician, Dr. Kasuga. He explained the treatment plan to them, but Suou couldn’t help feeling uneasy about him. There was something about his demeanour that made her uncomfortable.
After the initial testing, Dr. Kasuga informed them that they would need to undergo further examination. When he suggested that Suou come back to the hospital for a follow-up appointment, she agreed without hesitation.
